- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I joined the Derby Medical center in 2001, and have been very happy with the service that I get from the centre. Generally I find the reception staff helpful, once or twice over the.years I have experienced moody staff, but at the end of the day if you get out of the wrong side of the Bex it can really mess your day up. Also we.don't know what abuse they have had to up with by patients. Out of the Dr's I have seen there,they have all been professional and have a good bedside manner. I generally get to see my GP which is good. I am a heavy user of the NHS due to services due to my many health problems, which began a a kid, not that they stopped me from doing sport etc. I remember saying to my GP, you must hate seeing my name show on screen so many times. Her reply put me at ease, " I would prefer to see patients like you, as you have got syndromes and progressive health problems that are not going to go sway, and need medical input for the rest of your life.. I would rather see you than a patient who turns up with a sore nose, to find out it's a pimple". I recommend the Derby Medical center wholeheartedly.by David LudlowMay 18, 2017
